Another Record Year: United Way Central WV’s Dancing with the Stars Season 5 Raises Over $335,000 for Central West Virginia
Charleston, WV — The stars returned to the dance floor, and the community delivered once again. United Way Central WV’s Dancing with the Stars Season 5 proved to be another outstanding success, raising a remarkable $335,277.75 in support of programs that serve individuals and families across Central West Virginia.
This year’s event showcased months of dedication, fundraising, and community spirit, culminating in an unforgettable evening celebrating impact and generosity.
The 2026 celebrity dance pairs included:

• Couple #2: Danielle Waltz & Cameron Vance
• Couple #3: Dr. Jacqueline Stump & Tracy Abdalla
• Couple #4: Melanie Pagliaro & Jeff Preast
• Couple #5: Shea Paul & C. Anthony Parker
• Couple #6: Christie Goldman & Drew Elliot
People’s Choice Winners
• 1st Place: Couple #3 – Dr. Jacqueline Stump & Tracy Abdalla
Raised a record-breaking $133,604.53, the highest total in event history
• 2nd Place: Couple #2 – Danielle Waltz & Cameron Vance

Now in its fifth season, Dancing with the Stars – United Way Style continues to grow as a signature event that not only entertains but fuels meaningful change. Proceeds from the event support United Way Central WV’s Community Impact Fund, advancing work in Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

Our dancers gave their time, our supporters gave generously, and together we created real impact for our neighbors across Central West Virginia.
