All volunteers must sign a waiver and submit it to United Way Central WV prior to the event.

PROJECT REGISTRATION

Project registrations will open on June 8, 2026 and will be accepted until August 14, 2026 at midnight.

Nonprofits, schools, childcare facilities, churches, and other eligible 501(c)(3) organizations in our 6-county footprint (Boone, Braxton, Clay, Kanawha, Logan, and Putnam, can submit project. Projects are matched with teams who possess the skillset to complete them. 

PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE:

• Minor Maintenance and repairs
• Cleaning and Organizing (inside or outside)
• Landscaping and gardening 
• Painting and beautification
• Sorting clothing and donation
• Preparing care packages ir food boxes
• Client engagement (serving food) 
• Trail building and management
• Vehicle washing and cleaning (agency)
• Indoor activities
• Outdoor activities

We advise that no project takes more than 5-6 hours to complete.
