United Way Day of Caring

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

United Way’s Day of Caring is a day of service where volunteers from area businesses and organizations visit, assist, and complete projects at one of our community’s non-profit agencies. It's an opportunity for community members to help others through hands-on experience to see where their donations go and how agency programs are improving lives.

The benefits for company volunteer involvement include a bolstering of team spirit among participating employees, increased company morale, positive exposure in the community, and a greater understanding of how a commitment of time and money make a difference. Day of Caring will strengthen community relationships and corporate visibility.

For more information on this year's event, contact Lisa Hudnall, at 304.340.3521.
