Program/Service Notes:
The Patient Services Program is committed to improving the quality of life for patients and their families. The program offers practical and ongoing support through all the phases of illness, from diagnosis through treatment and recovery through a wide variety of services: . Patient Aid provides financial assistance to help cover costs of transportation, medications and other treatment related expenses not covered by insurance. $500 per fiscal year maximum. . First Connection links newly diagnosed patients with trained volunteers to lend hope and support. . Also provide family support groups, back to school re-entry, advocacy, public education and information and referral.
