Provides a forum for women to present issues of concern that are forwarded to the Governor and Legislature. Programs recognize the accomplishments of women in the state. Assistance to understand the legislative process and observing that process in action. Teaches advocacy of women's issues through education, workshops and brochures. 11 Commissioners appointed by the Governor.
