Hearing Aid bank for hearing-impaired individuals who are unable to purchase hearing aids. The aids are behind-the-ear type aids which have been donated to the club. Although they have been used, they have been checked for performance and if necessary have been repaired or re-conditioned. These hearing aids are provided to qualified individuals at no charge. There are several participating Certified Audiologists licensed to dispense hearing aids who will provide their services (fitting, evaluation, counseling) at no charge. The individual receiving the hearing aid is responsible for obtaining his/her hearing evaluation and for purchasing the ear mold ($15-20) and batteries.
