A shelter for domestic violence victims an their children; 24 hour crisis line; support groups for women, children, and teens; individual counseling for women and children; legal and court advocacy; parenting classes; a Monitored Visitation and Exchange Center; a Job Readiness Center; assistance with transportation, housing, jobs, school enrollment, obtaining financial benefits, etc; transitional housing; teen dating violence prevention programs in area schools; and a Batterers Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP) for men. The Monitored Visitation and Exchange Center is located in the white building by Piedmont Elementary. It is behind Celebration Station. Parents have designated times to drop off and pick up children. The exchange takes place without any interaction between parents. Monitored visits are offered for parents who are not given court permission to take the child out of the center.
