Donated Dental Project: Dentists throughout the state donate their services to financially or medically indigent patients. Eligibility criteria includes SSI recipients 21 years of age or older, or adults 65 year of age or older with incomes at or below 133% of the federal poverty level. Dentists are reimbursed the lab cost to construct full or partial dentures. Children's Dentistry Project provides oral health education, school fluoride rinse and brush-in programs, fluoride supplements, well water fluoride level testing, referral guide to participating Medicaid dentists and limited funding for sealants. Pre-Employment Services Project provides preventive, basic restorative and prostodontic dental services for TANF recipients for the purpose of transitioning adults from welfare to work.
