Eligibility: Any innocent victim who suffers personal injury as the result of a crime.
Fees: No filing fee.
Intake Process: File a claim for compensation within 2 years of the date of the crime.

Established by the WV Legislature to compensate innocent victims of crime in WV. The Fund operates through fees generated from state court costs and fines and through federal matching funds. It can compensate for medical expenses, lost wages, funeral expenses and dependents' income loss.
