Program/Service Notes:
Provides home ownership opportunities for low-income families in Kanawha and Putnam counties. Habitat builds homes in partnership with low-income families that meet the program guidelines. Families must meet income guidelines, be living in substandard housing and be able to pay a 20 year no interest mortgage. They must also be willing to complete 400 hours of work on their own home as well as that of another family within the program. This process may take up to 1 1/2 years.
