Program/Service Notes:
Turning Point is a pre-independent living group home for youth ages 15-18 who are in state custody. They are referred by DHHR Social Workers. There are two locations, TP I at 1019 Lawndale Lane and TP II at 601 Homewood Drive, housing up to 11 youths. Each resident is expected to complete goals in order to reach independence with assistance of TP staff. Parents are urged to be involved in the youth's life, attending monthly support groups, weekly cook nights and informal visits.
