Helping Children and Youth Succeed
Successful children and youth:

- Are enrolled in early childhood and/or after-school programs
- Are involved in community service and leadership
Building Vital and Safe Neighborhoods
In vital and safe neighborhoods, residents:
- Have access to affordable housing and economic opportunities
- Are active in civic life and have strong networks
- Lead community-building efforts

Supporting Vulnerable and Aging Populations
Vulnerable and aging populations need:
- Access to coordinated mental, emotional, physical health, and terminal illness services
- Health-care access for uninsured and under-insured individuals and families
- Comprehensive services for individuals and families facing crisis
