neighborhoods, and aging populations along with other important endeavors. It’s West Virginians helping West Virginians. You can even designate which of the organizations listed you would like your donation to target. This is an appealing aspect of the campaign, which can make your contribution even more meaningful.

How the Combined Campaign Works
When you give through the West Virginia State Employee Combined Campaign (WVSECC) you ensure that critical, wide ranging, human care services are available to those in need across West Virginia. Together, we provide help in the areas of health and elderly services; abuse and neglect; food, clothing, and shelter; youth development and childcare; substance abuse; counseling, rehabilitation, and training; information and referral; and education and literacy.
The WVSECC is the only state-sanctioned fund raising effort in which employees can use payroll deduction. You can spread your contributions throughout the year by deducting only a few dollars a month. Your gift may be tax deductible on your itemized federal tax return.
When you give through WVSECC, you can be sure your contributions are being used effectively. In addition, you may target your contribution to a specific agency. These approved participating agencies have demonstrated that they provide needed services to all eligible people and are fiscally responsible.
